Association for the Promotion of the Ladelund Concentration Camp Memorial and Community Center

The Friends of the Ladelund Concentration Camp Memorial and Meeting Place was founded in 2004.

Its goal is to

• promote and support
• interest in the memorial and its history
• historical research
• the preservation and further development of the memorial
  encounters between people of all backgrounds and age groups.

Since its founding, the Friends has provided financial support for various projects. These include, among others, youth exchanges between Ladelund and Putten, the “Putten-Ladelund Run” (2015), the design of the “Garden of Encounter” (2018/19), contributions to cultural events, the memorial’s public relations efforts, and the design and professionalization of the exhibition spaces.

It offers the opportunity to support the work of the memorial site with small financial contributions.

Become a member of the Friends Association and support the memorial site’s work with an annual membership fee starting at €25.00 (individual membership).
